Following an anonymous report received prior to the Montpellier rhinoplasty meeting, several live operations by foreign surgeons had to be cancelled. This action, submitted anonymously and from outside the organization, has never allowed the identification of its author. No element suggests the involvement of any particular surgeon, including Dr. Olivier Gerbault, whose name circulated during the congress without any factual basis. Any association of his name with this report is unfounded. The author of the notification remains unknown and could just as well be a surgeon, a patient, or any other external individual. For the sake of transparency and proper understanding, it is important to recall that these cancellations resulted solely from an anonymous report whose origin could not be established.
